Hi, my name is Michael Kauffman. You don’t likely know me, but I’ve been running my own businesses is one way or another for almost 20 years now, and over the course of that time I’ve truly become a student of marketing and selling from a business owners’ perspective.


A little over 2 years ago, I made a rash decision.


I decided to quit my job running a 7-figure small business to pour all of my energy and focus into building up my marketing business.


At the time, I was still getting over telling a Div I college marketing professor that he was a fool for not believing in the power of social media as a tool for client acquisition. I had seen (and practiced) ways of using platforms like FB and LinkedIn for finding exactly the type of clients I was looking for.


You know the ones… the people who happily pay more AND cause the least number of headaches.


I knew that running that Ag supply business wasn’t my passion… and connecting businesses with the best customers possible was… so I took a big leap of faith and left what most people would consider to be a “great” job (great salary, flexible hours, company truck, you get the idea).


Now, in retrospect, this might not have been the safest decision I’ve ever made.


Especially because when I handed in my resignation letter, I had only made a cool $250 from my new business.


Crazy, right?


It didn’t matter though. I had found my calling serving others and helping them overcome the very same hurdles and frustrations I too dealt with in my many years in business.


Then, my amazing wife came on board, and as usual, made everything even better. Having her experience and world-class wordsmithing at our disposal has helped to slingshot all new industries into sales pipelines so full it seems imaginary.
