Excited by life and the opportunity to create value for others, I am a perpetual self-improver who is always looking at ways to stay ahead of the curve. I pursue progress through continuous academic learning, deep personal development and the good ol' school of hard knocks. My unique experiences give me an adventurous yet considered approach to life and business, which is reflected in the relationships I build. It is with this energy that I help business owners take real steps towards being the company of the future today. It also drives me as a Founder of a fintech who's mission is to help eliminate financial stress from the planet. 

At the core of my approach is a strong belief that the purpose of life is to create value for others. We exist for each other and this theme underlies life and business for me. It is how I help foster communities that aspire to a common vision.

But it doesn't have to be wishy washy, here's an example. 

The year is 2014:

Me: "Guys we need to start using Zoom and doing more remote client meetings. Also, let's build a client experience we can share on screen. To do this we're going to have to invest in a good CRM system and maybe repackage our service, branding and value proposition."

My business partners: "(sigh), here he goes again!"

2020:

Well, Zoom is so yesterday. 

Two years after the above conversation we were acquired by the subsidiary of an overseas listed company. We had tripled revenue and grew our assets under management from $50 million to almost $150 million. 

On the flip side.......

Even after that success, when we sold our business on a long term buy out, we faced some heavy challenges. Some of them business, some relationship based, but all very real and with important impact. 

Life is a series of ups and downs and I help businesses navigate these with a keen eye on the future.

PERSONAL DRIVE

As a young boy running around the rock pools on our family property in Samoa, I was always taught to respect others and give back to the community. It is where my deep desire to make a difference was born and why I always look for ways to be a part of the change we want to see in the world.
