A common example you may have noticed: If someone doesn't take the time to check their spelling, that means they likely didn't have time to consider what they said, which communicates a lack of respect and authority on their part. Sure it can be forgiven, but it still communicates mistrust about the quality of their character.

In business, your character is known as your brand. A brand is not a logo, a color scheme, a series of images or a product line. A brand is a person's gut feeling about you, your company, your products, and your customer community.

To start:

• Determine the dimensions of your final output which you require. If it is a digital image, that will be how many pixels wide and tall it will be published at. If you have a physical product, that will be how many inches/cm wide and tall it will be, and on which type of medium (book cover, paper, brochure, fabric, etc.)

• Gather source material - artwork, photos, references, inspirational materials, your text copy, company name, taglines and any theme information you have.

• Tell me what your project is about, what is it's story, what are it's strengths, where do you see yourself positioned in the market, who are your competitors, who do you admire and want to emulate - the more backstory I know, the better I'll be able to communicate and position your designs to hit where you intend them to go.

Each project requires three things to be defined before going into production:

• Timeframe

• Budget

• Scope

You as the client, determine two of those factors. I as the producer/designer determine the third.

The more prepared you are, the less time I need to spend, and the more affordable and effective our work together becomes.

I charge $50/hr. for design services.

The length of time required is determined by the complexity of the product, the availability of quality source material, the volume of pieces you need, and the time-frame in which you need it.

Oddly enough, it also is determined by how ready you are internally to make your move into success. The universe responds to your readiness to be of service.

I always like to deliver quality on time, so my availability is limited to those who take their work seriously.
